As an Entry Level Sales Representative you will receive world-class training on the client's sales process and technologies, and have the opportunity to advance your career through the client's Sales Training Program in our collaborative learning environment. Entry Level Sales Representatives are the first point of contact and educate potential customers about the many benefits of solar energy, working at Home Depot stores and retail kiosks.

You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, answering their questions, and arranging customer consultations in their homes with Outside Sales Consultants. After achieving your goals on a consistent basis, and at the discretion of your manager, you will be eligible for promotion to Outside Sales Consultants where additional world-class sales training and mentorship is provided.

Responsibilities:
oSpeaking with customers about clean energy solutions
oDriving the creation of in-store leads to meet personal and team sales goals and objectives
oTraining and motivating The Home Depot employees
oCollaborating with Outside Sales Consultants to confirm in-home appointments
oSetting up displays and collateral
oHosting and conducting in-store seminars and events for 20 or more people
oWorking side-by-side with top sales producers and learning from them directly
oAdditional duties required as needed

Requirements

Entry Level Sales Representative:
oFour-year college degree preferred
oMust be 18 years of age or older
o2 years' work experience in a quota-driven sales position highly preferred
oRetail sales experience-working the floor highly preferred
oLead generation experience a plus
oPositive, professional, and big picture attitude
oHigh energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills
oArticulate with excellent communication skills
oHighly persuasive, self-disciplined, and honest
oMust be flexible working weekend and evening shifts
oMust be proficient with Excel and MS Outlook (+CRM tool preferred)
oMust have a clean driving record (example, no DUI in the last 5 years)
oMust have a valid state driver's license
oMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
oMust be comfortable standing for long periods of time in a retail sales environment
oWe welcome over-achievers, leaders, Peace Corps or Teach for America volunteers, college athletes, Eagle Scouts, former military veterans, and candidates who are involved with community service
oSpanish language speakers, and other language skills a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
